Educated, Passionate, Energetic, and Creative are a few words to describe me.

 I am originally from Philadelphia, PA, but I left home and attended Claflin University in Orangeburg, SC to achieve my undergraduate degree in Marketing. After graduation, I started my career with a Fortune 100 telecommunications company. This career led me to live in Washington, D.C., Atlanta, GA, and Cincinnati, OH. I have now planted my roots in Charlotte, NC and currently work in Product Development for the same telecommunications company, where I began my career. Most recently, I completed a dual graduate degree program with Pfeiffer University, receiving a MBA in Marketing, as well as a second Masters in Organizational Leadership.

I have a serious love for all things WINE! This love started with my move to Charlotte, NC. As I explored the city and networked with so many people, I naturally became a socialite and foodie! This blossomed into friendships and experiences over many glasses of wine. I noticed a need to build within this community of wine lovers and curated bi-weekly networking mixers titled "For The Love of Wine" and "For The Love of Art". These events grew beyond my imagination and allowed me to solidify my place in Charlotte as a "ConnectHER".

During the pandemic, I yearned to be social and figured since it was unsafe to socialize in person, I would do it virtually, but in a luxurious way. I purchased wine accessories from multiple companies and convinced my circle to do the same. I hosted weekly virtual "meet ups" that consisted of drinking wine and catching up on life, but in an elevated way; it fueled my soul. 

Luxe Pour Wine Essentials, LLC was born during one these meetups.

One of my favorite quotes is by Maya Angelou and it reads “my mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.” I have since turned this quote into my philosophy in life.
